The altar frontal has two panels that are mirror images. Each shows two stalks of wheat and grapes, symbols of the bread and wine of Holy Communion.
The chalice veil is decorated with a stylized version of the Greek letters chi (X) and rho (P), an ancient symbol made from the first letters of the word “Christ.” This symbol is repeated on the lectern hanging and chasuble.
