Adult Christian Education
Each week members of the congregation gather to explore a wide range of topics related to our Christian faith. All are welcome to join this friendly and stimulating group either in-person in the Boardroom or via Zoom meeting. If you want to participate remotely, please contact Stan Baptista at stan.baptista@gmail.com to receive an invitation to join the next Zoom Adult Forum discussion.
Please prepare your coffee (or other beverage) and visit with us at 9:00 am each Sunday morning!
Book of Faith Bible Study
As part of the Book of Faith initiative to increase familiarity with the Bible, the first language of our faith, Pastor Jeff Lilley offers a daytime Bible study Thursday mornings from 10:00 to 11:15 am. During the statewide “stay at home” mandate, the group began meeting via the Zoom online meeting platform, and this option remains available now that we have resumed meeting in-person in the Boardroom. All are welcome to join this lively discussion of the Biblical texts, relevant current events, and historical foundations. Please contact Cathy Baptista at cathynt@gmail.com for information about attending in-person or to receive an invitation to the next Zoom Bible study discussion.

An occasional gathering for shared food and stimulating discussion, Food for Thought currently meets at the home of David Hörmann and via Zoom online meeting. Please contact Marlise Tellander at marlisetellander@hotmail.com to receive an invitation to join the next Zoom Food for Thought meeting.

Mary Magdalene is an informal group. We do not have dues or formal membership list. We welcome anyone associated with LCH even loosely to join with us. Partners are welcome whether they participate in the church or not. Those who are already on the Mary Magdalene mailing list will receive an email inviting them to reserve their place of dinner during the week before the scheduled meeting. If you want to be added to the mailing list, or for more information, please contact Bill Potter, group facilitator, at bill.potter808@gmail.com.
