The other focus of the service was the Procession of the Cross around the Nave as the congregation sang verses of “Sing, my tongue, the song of triumph.” Between verses, the ministers elevated the Taizé cross that usually hangs on the wall: “Behold, the life-giving cross on which was hung the salvation of the world.”
