Summary: This ring symbolizes the promises I made in marriage—promises meant to last for a lifetime. This stamp represents the promise the post office makes to deliver my letter, and this check represents a promise to pay money. In our first lesson, God promises to give Abram an heir and descendants as numerous at the stars in the sky. We sometimes break our promises, but God always keeps promises.
