What’s Happening...

Since 1975, the Lutheran Church of Honolulu has celebrated the beginning of Advent with a moving service of music and word. This year, we present a service of ‘lessons and carols’ with a variety of readings, hymns, anthems, and motets. Features of the musical program include the Magnificat from Kenneth Leighton’s Second Service, Herbert Howells’ A Spotless Rose, and Samuel Scheidt’s Duo seraphim clamabant. Please join us for this beautiful beginning to the holiday season.
